Simple comforts. Open skies. All yours.
Sitting at the edge of open Arkansas pastureland, The Spear is one of two cozy log cabins at Flint Rock Cabins — a small, locally owned retreat just 20 minutes from Hot Springs and 40 minutes from Little Rock. If you've been searching for a cabin near Hot Springs with a private hot tub, wide open views, and room to actually breathe, you've found it.
The Cabin
Inside, warm pine walls and a vaulted ceiling give the space an open, airy feel. The master bedroom features a king bed, matching cabin-style lamps, a Hollywood vanity, full-length mirror, and open wardrobe. A set of twin bunk beds makes The Spear a comfortable fit for families or small groups of up to four.
The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use — cookware, small appliances, and a dedicated coffee bar with an espresso machine, dual Keurig, and everything you need for a slow morning in. The living area has a leather sofa, stone-front electric fireplace, bar seating, Smart TV, and a generous collection of board and card games. Fast fiber optic WiFi is available throughout, so you can stay connected or completely unplug — your call.
The Outdoors
The Spear is the open, sunny cabin at Flint Rock Cabins — no tree canopy overhead, just wide sky and pasture views in every direction. Step onto the covered porch and take it all in, or ease into your private hot tub as the stars appear over the open field. Your private fire pit and Adirondack chairs sit on a gravel pad with nothing between you and the Arkansas sky. A private grill and picnic table round out the setup, and cornhole and horseshoe pits are available on site when you're ready for a little competition.
The sunsets here are something else entirely — the kind that stop you mid-sentence.
On-Site Amenities
Guests at The Spear have access to our shared amenity building, which includes top-of-the-line laundry units, a small fitness station, and a dedicated workspace — great for extended stays or remote workers sneaking in a productive morning before the day begins.
The Location
Looking for a cabin near Little Rock, or a cabin near Hot Springs that puts you close to everything without sacrificing the quiet? Flint Rock Cabins sits right in between. You're 20 minutes from Oaklawn Racetrack & Casino, Magic Springs Theme Park, Hot Springs ORV Park, Garvan Woodland Gardens, the Gangster Museum of America, and Bathhouse Row. Little Rock is about 40 minutes away, with day trips to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, the Little Rock Zoo, and the Big Dam Bridge all within easy reach.
Back at the cabin, deer appear at dawn and dusk, the neighboring cattle farm gives the property its rural Arkansas character, and the open pasture view reminds you why you came.
A Few Good Things to Know
Dogs under 40 lbs are welcome. Plenty of parking on site, including space for trailers. While The Spear sleeps four comfortably, we know not every family fits that mold — a pack 'n play and twin fold-out mattress are available upon request, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Traveling with another group? Our neighboring cabin, The Arrow, is right next door — same amenities, same great location, tucked into the trees for a shadier, more secluded feel.

Wow! The cabin was truly inviting and created such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere for us, in spite of the thunderstorm weather. Every detail reflected warmth and thoughtful hospitality - even down to the fragrance, which was such a thoughtful touch.
I had an amazing stay! This place was exactly as described—-peaceful, clean, and private with beautiful surroundings. The host, Mrs. Sarah was very responsive and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect and secluded. The small touches made the stay welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to feel at home!
It was a nice cabin, very clean. They had lots of extras like shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. If you're a coffee drinker they had lots of machines and coffee pods as well as a few caffeine tea options. They had fun games for the kids and puzzles. The hot tub is an inflatable and we were surprised it did as well as it did in the freezing cold weather. It dipped to 97 when we were in it, but staying covered during the day it would go back up to 102/104. The fire pit has a roasting table if you want to cook that way and there was a gas grill. We had the neighbors dog visit us every day which was a lot of fun as he was very friendly. It was also great to have a laundry building on the property which was stocked with detergent. We would recommend staying here.
This was just what we needed. This cabin is the coziest, inviting and well stocked. You've thought of everything! Beds were comfortable, hot tub was great! Thanks for sharing your little slice of country heaven.
Super cute and cozy! Especially loved the sweet dog who greeted us when we got there ;)
This was a perfect stay for my husband and I. It was about 20 minutes from town which we enjoyed because of the privacy. The guest manual that was provided was very helpful and gave great recommendations. Everything was in pristine condition and it was very cozy! Would definitely stay here again when we come back for our next visit!
The PERFECT place for us to play outside which is why I booked this family get away in the first place. We collected pretty rocks, made fires , explored the property, my boys had a blast collecting “good sticks” to sharpen and practice their throwing. The hot tub was perfect and the size of the cabin was perfect and so clean! The cabin the washer dryer and weight room was such a nice extra that I didn’t expect and I’m glad it was detached so it didn’t. Cramp the cabin
I really enjoyed staying here! Sarah is a wonderful host and made sure the stay was excellent. I absolutely loved the hot tub, the views, and just the whole place, seriously one of the coziest air bnb’s I’ve stayed at. I also loved relaxing by the fireplace, this place is awesome!!five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I travel for work (this trip was actually recreational though) and spend most of my year in BnB's. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a stay any more than I did my time in Sarah and her husband's cabin! Everything is even better than I was hoping for! They have thought of EVERYTHING!!! The property is super peaceful and I loved looking out over it from our cozy porch every morning. My wife and I stayed there for several days and only left one time for a quick run to town because we did not want to leave, but there were tons of things to do in the area. I exercised in their community building while my laundry was washing in one of their 2 top of the line washing machines (with all the NAME BRAND detergent, fabric softener, etc. thoughtfully provided.) We enjoyed sitting out around our private fire ring (with additional firewood provided and brought without even having to ask!) You will not be disappointed with a stay at The Spear! Do yourself a favor and book this cabin!
Had everything we needed, the place was beautiful with a great view. I would 100% recommend.
